Salico S.p.A.

Founded in 1978 and located in Molteno (LC), nearby Milano, is the head quarters for SALICO Group and is involved with basic design, engineering, manufacturing and start up mainly for slitting and cut to length lines. It features 4 mechanical manufacturing plants with a capacity of 8,000 m2, mechanical engineering offices and R&D center. It is a Technical Development Center for continuous innovation for finishing lines and it is the source location of many of the advanced technical developments nowadays still considered the State of the Art in our field.

Having our own manufacturing plant makes it possible for the “in house” production of our most technologically critical equipment such as roller levelers, tension levelers, back tensioning devices, stackers, slitter heads, rotary shears, mandrels, side trimmers, scrap choppers, etc.

The plant is equipped with the most advanced machining equipment and is controlled by a strict quality protocol in all processes, resulting in all our equipment being able to leave our facilities well adjusted and fully tested, ready to go into production.

Salico Automation S.r.l.

It is also located very near main SALICO plant, in the town of Cremella and it is one of the Group companies in charge of supplying electrical and automation equipment for the lines delivered by SALICO.

The scope of its work for automation will include PLC software development, Level 2 and interface with Level 3, drives set up, as well as the construction of the electrical cabinets and control desks. This results in a completely integrated mecha – tronic solution with all processes controlled in house our companies.

Spain

Salico Hispania S.A.

It is the main company of the Group in Spain and it is located in las Rozas, in the suburbs of Madrid. It is in charge of basic design, engineering, manufacture and startup of Tension leveling Lines and Cleaning Lines for both the steel and aluminum sectors.

It includes a powerful team of mechanical engineers and professionals previously involved in one of the leading companies in the field of mechanical equipment for the metals industry.

Salmec Automation S.L.

Also located in the outskirts of Madrid, it is one of the Group companies in charge of supplying electrical and automation equipment for the lines delivered by SALICO.

The scope of its work for automation will include PLC software development, Level 2 and interface with Level 3, drives set up, as well as the construction of the electrical cabinets and control desks. This results in a completely integrated mecha – tronic solution with all processes controlled in house our companies.

United Kingdom

KCS Herr Voss is the competence center for cleaning and degreasing processes. Its activity includes also other types of lines such as Coil Inspection Lines, PVC application Lines and Paint Coating Lines. This way, its range of products perfectly complements that of the rest of SALICO Group.

Throughout its history, started in the early ‘60s, KCS Herr Voss UK has supplied a wide range of specialized lines and services including UK’s largest paint coating line or worlds can stock fastest electrolytic cleaning line.

At the end of 2015, SALICO Group joined forces with US based company SES LLC in order to market its finishing and processing lines in the USA, Canada and Mexico: Slitting Lines, Cut to Length Lines, Tension Leveling Lines, Cleaning and Degreasing Lines, etc.

The new company is called SES SALICO Finishing and Processing, LLC and with this joint venture company Salico customers in the North American market can benefit from our highly advanced technology in the finishing lines combined with local engineering, manufacture and after sales service from SES premises in Alliance, Ohio.
