Founded in 1978 and located in Molteno (LC), nearby Milano, is the head quarters for SALICO Group and is involved with basic design, engineering, manufacturing and start up mainly for slitting and cut to length lines. It features 4 mechanical manufacturing plants with a capacity of 8,000 m2, mechanical engineering offices and R&D center. It is a Technical Development Center for continuous innovation for finishing lines and it is the source location of many of the advanced technical developments nowadays still considered the State of the Art in our field.
Having our own manufacturing plant makes it possible for the “in house” production of our most technologically critical equipment such as roller levelers, tension levelers, back tensioning devices, stackers, slitter heads, rotary shears, mandrels, side trimmers, scrap choppers, etc.
The plant is equipped with the most advanced machining equipment and is controlled by a strict quality protocol in all processes, resulting in all our equipment being able to leave our facilities well adjusted and fully tested, ready to go into production.
